Byteweek 2025
What we did
The FreeCAD developers held a hackathon on Tuesday 28 January, and the Matrix Foundation and its community met on Friday 31 January. Bytenight filled Saturday 1 February, and on Sunday 2 February, the closing night of FOSDEM, Social Web After Hours brought four talks by Fediverse speakers.
The week before Fosdem conference, HSBXL compiles a week of hacking.

We end our week with the notorious Bytenight!
HSBXL opened its doors to the FOSS community to hack on their projects in the days before FOSDEM, with heating, food, WiFi and our tool corner to get creative. A setup was ready for presentations, workshops and streams to remote communities. Contact contact@hsbxl.be to bring your FOSS group to the next edition.
